Meet Katelyn Clark

Katelyn started with Kyle House Fitness back in the beginning of 2019 and has been so much fun to have in class.

Not only has she completed 400 classes since then, but Katelyn has attended a lot of our community events and has even hosted an event at KHF with champagne and yoga! Hooray bubbles!

Getting to take a class with Katelyn is awesome. In the HIIPfit room she brings bright and powerful energy with her competitive edge as she works hard in every class. Katelyn has also been great about getting her friends and coworkers on board to take classes with her. She definitely understands the importance of fitness and wellness!

We were able to sit down with Katelyn for a quick chat and we got to learn a little more about this HIIPfit Hero. Here are some of the questions we asked Katelyn. Let’s see what she had to say:

What is your favorite thing about working out at KHF?

I don’t think I can just choose one! I love everything about KHF! The classes are incredible and the trainers go above and beyond. It’s so much more than physical health here. They focus on mental health, mind body connection, and the outpouring of love into our community.

What is your favorite part of the HIIPfit high-intensity interval class?

LIFT AND FLOW. I’ve always been in love with weight lifting and strength training, so that’s something I always look forward to in class. Since starting KHF, I’ve also fallen in love with the yoga or “flow” aspect of class. It’s helped me so much with my balance, strength, and flexibility, as well as my mental health.

What has been your biggest fitness success at KHF?

My biggest success at KHF has been my consistency. I’m a big believer that consistency over time is the biggest key to success in any aspect of life, including fitness. It’s very rare you don’t find me in the Noon class at KHF during the week. It’s so engrained into my routine and something I look forward to every day.

What is your favorite exercise or movement in HIIPfit?

Any challenge or advanced movement the trainers encourage us to try. I’m a competitive gal and love to take on a challenge, so any time one of the trainers gives us an advanced pose or challenge one of our movements, I am all for it.

What would you tell someone thinking of diving into the KHF fitness experience?

There are so many more benefits starting on a fitness journey than physical benefits or “looking” a certain way. Fitness is therapy. You’ll be able to work on your mental health. Work on your ability to focus on the present and your ability to let go. You’ll FEEL good. You’ll build strength. Release energy and tension. I mean, I could go on and on.Starting at KHF was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Why not try it out for yourself?

What are your future fitness goals at KHF?

To continue being the best version of myself possible, in fitness and in health. And to maintain my consistent workout routine, of course.

How are you going to continue your new and improved lifestyle?

Consistency, baby! Come workout with me at Noon any day of the week and we can continue our fit lifestyles together!”
