 CLASS DESCRIPTION

HIIPfit (High Intensity Interval Programming)  is an exclusive KHF high intensity interval workout program designed to burn calories, increase mobility and build muscle by combining cardio, weights, and yoga. 

HIIPfit is a lot like high intensity interval training, but we've developed a program that gives you a full body workout Monday - Saturday. But what makes it special?

  1. KHF is the only high intensity interval training studio in #chattanooga that incorporates quality yoga into every class. 
  2. While every day is a full body workout, the weights (or LIFT) portion of the class focuses on specific areas of the body to help you sculpt your best looking self. 
  3. Every class incorporates an adequate warm-up and cool down. 
  4. Each professional instructor is trained by Kyle House through the HIIPfit certification process.
  5. The workouts are built by the instructor, for you, no two classes are the same. 
  6. The class room is like a night club meets workout space featuring music with the right beats per minute designed to drive you through your workout in a fun and energetic atmosphere. 

In just 60 minutes (45 minute classes are at 12:00pm), with no assistance of technology, your instructor will work to push you further, push you harder, and inspire you to find your personal breakthrough. There are no beginners, no intermediates, no advanced. Just people coming together to transform and better themselves.

Our workouts are designed for individuals of ALL fitness levels, from total newbie to athletes.

Each class is broken down into 4 sections: THE WARM-UP, The WORKOUT, The BURNOUT, & The COOL DOWN. 

The WARM UP - a combo of light body weight movement and easy yoga stretching

The WORKOUT - 4 total rounds, 2 rounds on the treadmills and 2 rounds on floor. The treadmill intervals can be at a power walk, jog, or run pace and the workouts on the floor mix traditional aesthetic (look good) weight training and body weight movements targeting specific muscle groups for that day. 

The BURNOUT - a mix of power yoga and core (the abs) training

The COOL DOWN - a blend of yoga that includes restorative yoga positions and traditional post workout stretches. 

The CLASSROOM - The classroom holds 9 Star Trac Treadmills, 9 Reebok Deck Benches, and 9-18 Mats. A total of 18 people "HIIP-sters" broken into teams of two sweat it out for 1 hour (45 minutes for the express lunch classes) hitting cardiovascular work, strength training, and power yoga flows. The teams train rotationally in high intensity programed intervals, rotating between cardio and weights/power yoga during eight minute intervals in a high energy, fun atmosphere.

Sculpt your upper body focusing on pushing and pulling exercises.

5:30AM, 6:30AM, 8:30AM, 12:00PM, 4:00PM, 5:15PM, and 6:30PM

 

Muscles Targeted: Thighs + Butt + Calves + Hips

Squat, lunge, and hinge your way into strong, developed, and lean legs.

6:30AM, 8:30AM, 12:00PM, 4:00PM, 5:15PM, and 6:30PM

 

Muscles Targeted: Shoulders + Biceps + Triceps

Build and sculpt from your upper arms and shoulders down to your forearms with the perfect mix of power yoga and weight lifting.

Muscles Targeted: Core + Abs

Super charged core intensive workout blended with plyometric and range of motion exercises

6:30AM, 8:30AM, 12:00PM, 4:00pm, 5:15PM, and 6:30PM

 

Muscles Targeted: Full Body

Full body workout featuring cardio, lifting and yoga developed to sculpt your muscles and burn fat.  

FRIDAY: 5:30 AM, 6:30AM, 8:30AM, 12:00PM, 4:00PM, and 5:15PM

SATURDAY: 8:30AM, 9:45AM, and 11:00AM

NOTE: All classes are 60 minutes total with the exception for the 12:00PM class which is 45 minutes to better accommodate lunchtime schedules.

We have showers too, so you can shower up and head back to your schedule if you need to.
