Classes

 

How do I sign up for my first class? 

You can sign up for class by calling the studio 423-803-9630, or emailing us at info@kylehousefitness.com, If you are within a 50 mile radius of Chattanooga, your first class is on us!

How long are the classes?

KHF offer 60 minute and 45 minutes HIIPfit classes. All classes are one hour except for the 5:15am, 6:15am, 7:30am and 12:00PM time slots which are 45 minutes. And don’t worry, the average calorie burn is about the same you just get out of class faster!

What kind of class is HIIPfit?

HIIPfit stands for High Intensity Interval Programming and is a blend of cardiovascular work on treadmills, weight lifting, and yoga centric movements. It is an exclusive format to Kyle House Fitness created by Kyle House designed to burn calories, increase mobility, and build lean muscle. Each day is split into different muscle groups. Every class includes cardio intervals as well as yoga centric movements all based on the muscle group of the day.

Can the class be taken by anyone?

Yes, our HIIPfit format can be taken by anyone and any fitness level because of the ability to modify any movement or exercise. For the cardiovascular work you can use the treadmills to walk up steep inclines vs. running to get a cardiovascular training effect. 

Is Running Required?

No, running is not required. You can use the WOODWAY treadmills to suit your fitness goals. Walking, power walking, and light jogging are all encouraged. The workout is designed for you, and what you need. 

What happens if I am a beginner at lifting weights?

If you are a beginner at lifting weights, we have ranges of weights from 3lbs to 50lbs. Everyone is on their own fitness path and we have the right options to help you progress. 

How is yoga incorporated into the class?

We use traditional and fundamental yoga postures in the warm up, the main portion of the workout, and the cool down. The postures are easy enough to pick up on, even if you have never taken a yoga class before. 

What do I need to wear /  bring to class? 

Wear athletic clothes and cross training or running shoes. Hydration is important, so bring a reusable water bottle. We have water for sale in case you forget. 

How can I see how many classes I have left on my package?

Sign into your account and you’ll see all of your account info there. This can be done on the KHF website, the KHF app, or Mindbody (online/app).

What is the waitlist?

Lots of our classes sellout… humble brag. If the class you want is sold out, you can get on our wait list. As people cancel, you will be automatically added in the order you signed up and notified via text and email that you have been added to the class.

If a spot doesn’t open within the cancellation time frame, you could still have a chance of getting in. Feel free to show up at least five minutes before class starts and if we have a no-show we’ll start going through the wait list in order booked.

Be sure to setup you text and email alerts for notification.

Can I text or talk on the phone while in class?

No!  Seriously, it’s dangerous and distracting to others. SERIOUSLY, we know how important cell phones are, but we can all disconnect for at least an hour. This is your time with us and we want you to focus on your fitness and safety so put it in the storage area, we promise we will take a pic for Instagram with you after! 

How old do I have to be to come to a KHF HIIPfit Class?

13 is the magic number to attend KHF, but you have to be accompanied by an adult until you are 18. We also offer personal training. Personal training is a great alternative to classes for anyone of any age. Check out our personal training options here

Do you offer personal training? 

Yes, KHF offers small group, one-on-one, and yoga personal training. You can sign up for a free consultation by emailing us at workout@kylehousefitness.com or CLICK HERE.

Accounts/Payments

 

How do I pay online?

Register for an account if new, or login and add your credit card. We’ll save it for future purchases.

I'm having problems with my account.

First, try the basics:

  • If you’ve forgotten your password, follow the link on the login page to set up a new one.

  • Make sure your credit card is still valid.

  • Update your web browser if you need to.

  • If you’re really stuck, call the local studio or pop in and ask for help.

Can I book online?

Yes. In fact, we encourage it!

  • Register for an account first online and then buy yourself some classes or a membership class pass.

  • Then you can go ahead and reserve your spot online.

  • You can also download the KHF app and schedule your classes and appointments there.

Purchase Policy (Refunds)

 

Payment for Products & Services
Kyle House Fitness requires that an active credit or debit card remain on file. All credit and debit cards will be processed in US dollars at the time of payment. Kyle House Fitness is not responsible for any fees, charges, exchange rates or additional charges levied by individual financial institutions or Credit Card companies. Should a client's account have a negative balance for unpaid services Kyle House Fitness reserves the right to charge the credit or debit card on file for the remaining balance.

Forms of payment:
Cash, Check, Card. (Online purchases will be card only)

  • Memberships: Memberships are non-refundable but can be canceled with 30 days' notice. The 30-day notice must be made 30 days in advance of your next auto-draft.

  • Class Packs and Single Drop-ins: Class Packs will remain active (available for use) for 120 days from the purchase date. Class Packs can be refunded within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days a credit will be applied to your account for future use.

  • Personal Training Sessions (Packages):
    Personal Training sessions will remain active (available for use) for 120 days from the purchase date. Personal Training sessions/packages can be refunded within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days a credit will be applied to your account for future use.

  • Products (Clothing and Accessories):
    Products, Clothing, and Accessories may be returned within 14 days past the purchase date for exchange only. Returns are valid only for products that have not been opened, used, or damaged. Products that are defective or damaged upon arrival may be returned immediately for exchange. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges on.

Cancelations

 

What is your class cancellation policy?

We know how much you love to plan, which is why we have open ended reservations. So, scoop those spots up, and plan your workouts. All we ask is that if you are not going to be able to make the class, you cancel in advance.

For 5:15 am and 6:15 am - If you are signed up for either the 5:15 am or 6:15 am and need to cancel your spot, the cancellation will need to occur before 12 hours before the start of class.

  • You can cancel your reservation online at our scheduling site.

  • In the case of an emergency cancellation that is past the 10:00 pm hour the night before, please email us directly at info@kylehousefitness.com. This will not charge your account a cancellation fee.

All other classes will still continue to be subject to the 12 hour cancellation rule.

NOTE: Depending upon your package type, a missed class, no show, or late cancel of a class will result in one of the following actions:

  • A Class Pack or Starter and Standard memberships will result in the loss of a single class on your account.

  • A Premier membership will result in a $11 fee.

This allows us to make sure someone else gets that sweet HIIPfit spot if you can’t make it!

What if I miss class?

If you book a class under your class pass and don’t show up, we charge you a no-show fee based on the cancellation policy above

 NOTE: Depending upon your package type, a missed class, no show, or late cancel of a class will result in one of the following actions:

  • A Class Pack or Starter and Standard memberships will result in the loss of a single class on your account.

  • A Premier membership will result in a $11 fee.

Do you allow walk-ins?

Of course, but many classes book in a flash so you should really check ahead of time to check out if there’s space.

Can I leave my kids, pets or other items in the lobby?

While we love kids and pets we ask that they stay at home as we can’t be liable for anyone left in alone in our lobby area. If you do arrive to class with children or pets they will not be allowed to stay in the lobby, or other areas of KHF unattended and you will not be able to take class.
