Kyle House Fitness Chattanooga HIIPfit Heroes - Jimmy

Meet Jimmy.

Jimmy started his Kyle House Fitness journey with us in January of 2017 as part of our very first KHF 30 Day Challenge that we do every New Year to help jump start our annual fitness programming. The 30 Day Challenge includes HIIPfit classes, body composition tracking, and nutritional guidance. After becoming one of KHF’s first HIIPsters, Jimmy started personal training and small group training with some of his besties - Jen and Allison (accountability is a big deal here at KHF) and that’s what good friends are for :).

We were able to sit down with Jimmy for a quick chat and we got to learn a little more about this HIIPfit Hero. Here are some of the questions we asked him. Let’s see what he had to say:

What is your favorite thing about working out at KHF?

“My favorite thing is working out in an environment of motivated, kind, helpful and supportive people. Not just the staff, but the entire Kyle House community! And my awesome besties!”

What is your favorite part of the HIIPfit high intensity interval class?

“Actually, believe it or not, running. I love to push myself and everyone with me with words,,sometimes not good ones, and helping push others who like me are ready to give up.”

What has been your biggest fitness success?

“My biggest success has been proving that at any age it is all doable!”

What is your favorite exercise or movement in HIIPfit?

“My most favorite movement is overhead pulls! Maybe because I feel it head to toe.”

What would you tell someone thinking of diving into the KHF fitness experience?

“Really! You want to thrive in an environment  of love, acceptance, and encouragement!!  It’s only a part of what makes a KHF journey incredible”

What are your future fitness goals at KHF?

“To continue what you have mentored me to do. Accept what we can do and know there is always more to do.”

How are you going to continue your new and improved lifestyle?

“Continue to work out Monday through Friday at KHF and try to not eat mega stuff Oreos!!!”


Jimmy, thank you so much for sharing your journey with everyone. We have had such a great time getting to know you more over the years and we truly appreciate all of the energy you bring to the HIIPfit room and to the KHF community as a whole. You are loved here by so many and know that you are an inspiration to help those needing encouragement to jump into a fitness lifestyle. And you’re right, at ANY age, it is all doable.
