HIIPfit Heroes - Jeff Nixon

 

Meet Jeff Nixon

Jeff started with Kyle House Fitness back in the Summer of 2018 and has been going strong ever since.

Not only has he completed 400 classes since then, but he also has trained with one of our personal trainers regularly over the years to help create a complete and balanced fitness program.

If you have taken a class with him, then you know that it’s always a pleasure to have his energy in the HIIPfit room and at the studio and we are so proud of all of his accomplishments.

We were able to sit down with Jeff for a quick chat and we got to learn a little more about this HIIPfit Hero. Here are some of the questions we asked Jeff. Let’s see what he had to say:

What is your favorite thing about working out at KHF?

“The people. I’ve used KHF for both group classes and personal training; the trainers, instructors, and the front desk staff always do an outstanding job….and you couldn’t ask for two nicer guys than the Kyles..”

What is your favorite part of the HIIPfit high-intensity interval class?

“While it’s great knowing the targeted body parts for each day, I love that the classes are fresh and floor exercises are always being changed up.”

What has been your biggest fitness success?

“Dropping body fat and building muscle. The interval classes are great for both and any time worked in with personal training is an added bonus.”

What is your favorite exercise or movement in HIIPfit?

“The cool down and stretching at the end in a meditation-like atmosphere. Some days it’s my only opportunity for a few relaxing moments.”

What would you tell someone thinking of diving into the KHF fitness experience?

“Absolutely, I think the staff does a great job with keeping everyone motivated. With a free class and no contract obligation, there’s nothing to lose and the potential to make a very beneficial lifestyle change.”

What are your future fitness goals at KHF?

“More of the same. Now that I’m firmly planted in my mid-fifties, maintaining muscle tone, flexibility and keeping body fat down is a continual battle.”

How are you going to continue your new and improved lifestyle?

“By maintaining the commitment I’ve made to myself and continuing with both the diet and fitness goals that I’ve set for myself.”
