If you want to lose fat (and not muscle) fast without doing hours of cardio every week, then you'll want to know more about HIIPfit. If you're already a fan of HIIPfit (High Intensity Interval Programing) or have heard the buzz surrounding high intensity interval training, then you know it's a super effective and quick way to work out.
Basically, HIIPfit is a Kyle House Fitness program designed to burn calories and build muscle by combining cardio, weights, and yoga... yeah all three, talk about balanced fitness.
"I have always strived to hit all forms a fitness, but I know how hard that can be in the limited time most people have," said Kyle House. "So I put together a format that allows you to hit the weights, cardio and yoga centric movements in 60 minutes or less."
It all starts in the HIIPfit classroom. The HIIPfit classroom is a high energy atmosphere with nine Star Trac Treadmills, nine Reebok Deck Benches, and nine - 18 mats. The classroom can hold up to 18 individuals "HIIP-sters" who are broken into teams of two. The two teams sweat it out for one hour* hitting cardiovascular work, strength training, and power yoga flowing movements. The teams train rotationally in high intensity programed intervals, rotating between cardio and weights/power yoga during eight minute intervals in a high energy, fun atmosphere.
"When your workout goes back and forth between high and low intensity movements, it provides varying changes in heart rate leading to improved anaerobic and aerobic fitness, this is what helps you burn more fat in less time," says Kyle House. "We want to put equal emphasis on feeling good and looking good. No one should have to choose between the two, because, let's face it, we all want to look our best and feel our best"
Each week day is broken down into specific body groupings to ensure you hit all the right muscles to look good and feel good:
- Monday: Upper Body
- Tuesday: Lower Body
- Wednesday: Arms + ROM (Range of Motion)
- Thursday: Core
- Friday and Saturday: Full Body
