KHF AVAILABLE POSITIONS
Kyle House Fitness is currently looking for motivated, athletic fitness instructors who enjoy a team atmosphere and building strong community/fitness relationships. Instructors will be responsible for leading Chattanooga’s best new workout, HIIPfit.
(HIIPfit (High Intensity Interval Programing) is an exclusive KHF program designed to burn calories and build muscle by combining cardio + weights + yoga)
KHF will hold 4-6 classes a day with a specific focus on movements and muscle groups.
The position is part-time and an instructor will be assigned specific classes based off of set availability and will also have the opportunity to pick-up or cover other training opportunities
Be high energy with outgoing personalities
Exhibit a passion for the fitness industry and for utilizing physical fitness to enhance client's quality of life
Have the ability to multi-task and manage groups of 8-18 people is a must. You need to be able to essentially teach two classes at once
Have some experience training or leading small or large groups, specifically fitness related
Possess good comprehension skills and be able to learn/execute specific fitness programming
Though it is not a requirement, fitness certifications are a plus
Instructors will receive HIIPfit Certification and training teaching you how to increase the results of your clients through interval training.
FRONT DESK WORKER
The front desk worker will be responsible for creating a positive HIIPster experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Kyle House Fitness workout partners, prospective workout partners and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Greet workout partners, prospective workout partners and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
Handle all front desk related activities including:
Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
Check members into the system.
New workout partner sign-up.
Take prospective workout partners on tours.
Facilitate needed updates to workout partner’s accounts.
Respond to workout partner questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, and elevate to Fitness Director or Owner as needed.
Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the studio.
Customer service background preferred.
Basic computer proficiency. Mind Body experience preferred.
A passion for fitness and health.
Upbeat and positive attitude!
Punctuality and reliability is a must.
Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with workout partners and co-workers, exceeding the workout partner’s expectations.
Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Continual standing and walking during shift.
Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift
